The PSSA would like to announce their official 2014 All State Teams. This is the 42nd year the PSSA has honored the best shooters in Pennsylvania. Wilbur Ruhl retained his captain's position. He was Vet captain in 2013 and this year he is captain of the Senior Vet team. Senior Vet team. Frank Pascoe was selected captain of the menís team. It was his first captainís selection and his 18th over all selection. Debbie Ohye Neilson was named captain of the ladies' team. This was her first year competing as a Pennsylvania resident. Ian Recla was named Junior/Sub-Junior team captain. This was his 4th straight Junior/Sub-Junior selection. Three shooters, the late Stephen Ollock, Ken Darroch and Emerson Bornman were selected to the All State team for the 23rd time, a state record. Joel Etchen earned his 22nd team selection. State Hall of Famer Anna Mae Eberle has been selected to a state record 36 All State teams, last being selected in 2009. Lisa Long, a 2014 All American, earned her 20th selection. Sheldon Hostetter and Bruce Malone earned their 18th selection. Genevieve Davis was selected to her 18th Ladies' team. Her first selection's came in 1982, 32 years ago.
